The design of the device is clearly inspired by the legendary Nokia Lumia 920. Recently, high-quality photos of the new product appeared on the Internet thanks to a leak from a Belgian retailer.
The HMD Skyline has a rectangular shape and pronounced bezels that recall Lumia’s signature style. There are three cameras and an LED flash on the back. The smartphone will be available in pink and black.
The smartphone is expected to have an OLED display with FullHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Inside the device will be installed the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, which provides good performance for the mid-range segment.
The main camera of the smartphone will have a resolution of 108 megapixels, complemented by an ultra-wide lens and a macro or depth sensor. The front camera will be 32 megapixels for high-quality selfies.
HMD Skyline will also be equipped with a 4900 mAh battery with support for 33 W fast charging. In this case, the device will receive protection against dust and water according to the IP67 standard, a fingerprint scanner built into the screen and stereo speakers.
HMD Skyline will run on Android 14.
The new product will cost around €520 for the 8/256 GB version. The device is expected to be announced in July.
