The DM13 features a digital display design and eliminates the need for batteries with a built-in rechargeable battery that can provide up to eight hours of playback on a single charge. 3.5mm and 4.4mm outputs are provided for those who prefer a wired connection.
Wireless enthusiasts can enjoy audio thanks to aptX HD compatibility, but iPhone users will need an adapter due to the use of the lower bitrate AAC codec.
The updated CD player also features a USB port. The player will initially be available in silver, but additional colors including red, blue, titanium and black will be available later this year.
Priced at $179, the DM13 will be available in September.
