At the end of June, the Moskvich plant sold 1,300 new cars. More than 10,000 units were sold in the first half of the year. Of these, 900 were Moskvich 6 liftbacks and 700 were Moskvich 3e electric vehicles.
The plant plans to produce 27,000 cars by the end of 2024, almost double the figure for 2023, when 15,300 cars were sold.
Now the Russian Moskvich produces three models of cars: the compact crossover Moskvich 3, its electric version Moskvich 3e and the Moskvich 6 liftback. Most recently, the company introduced the seven-seat crossover Moskvich 8. The start of production and sales of the new product is planned for October 2024.
