The Radxa X4 has several significant advantages over its competitors. It is powered by a quad-core Intel N100 processor with Turbo boost up to 3.4GHz and 6MB cache, supported by 4GB or 8GB LPDDR5 RAM.
The board is equipped with a 2.5Gbps Ethernet port, WiFi 6 (for the model with 8GB memory), and Bluetooth 5.2. The M.2 M-Key socket supports NVMe SSDs with read/write speeds of up to 3,400MB/s and 3,100MB/s respectively.
The motherboard supports video output via two micro HDMI 2.0 ports with 4K resolution and is equipped with a 3.5mm audio jack. The Radxa X4 also integrates a microcontroller for I/O control via a 40-pin GPIO header. However, it lacks MIPI CSI and DSI connectors.
Radxa claims to support Windows 10/11 and Debian/Ubuntu, but detailed documentation and hardware access libraries are still under development.
