A bill is to be submitted to the State Duma that will limit the time of irregular work to 120 hours per year. If it is adopted, the employer will have to ensure accurate recording of the time of irregular work. The deputy proposed amending the Labour Code, according to which employers should “clearly record every hour of overtime worked by their employees.”
Managers will also have to extend their vacations according to the number of overtime hours. In this case, the duration of these vacations must not be less than three calendar days per year.
According to Yaroslav Nilov, the life span of an irregular worker is not limited at present, the approximate time has not been set by either the law or the courts.
