Also in these two banners, a new 4-star hero named Heizo awaits us. From what I understand, he will be a catalyst anemo who prefers to fight melee. Quite an odd combination, I must say. His (Eshka) active ability can be charged. From this, the damage area and the damage itself will increase. As for elemental blast (ult), Heizo jumps up and deals damage in an area. The damage itself depends on the element he reacts with.
In the second half of the update, Yoimiya’s banner awaits us. She is a very good pyro archer, so it is very possible to knock her out if there is a chance. Although, given the information that already refers to version 3.0, I think you should still skip it, but more on that below. Well, as a reward for the event, we will receive a free Fischl. This is a very good electric archer, so her or her constellations are definitely worth picking up for her.

Also in the broadcast, we were presented with up to two skins for the characters. In general, since Genshin is primarily a character game, it is very strange that there are very few skins for heroes. In any other game and any other developer, hundreds of skins would have been riveted by now. And why they appear in Genshin once every six months, or even less often, I personally don’t understand.
So the first skin will go to the aforementioned Fischl. We will receive him, as well as Fischl herself, for completing the event. The second skin, suddenly, was Dilyuk’s skin. Unfortunately, it will only be paid and very expensive. However, the skin itself not only changes the appearance of the character, but also changes some animations and the color of the character’s item. Whether you need it or not, decide for yourself.
events
This time, the events themselves are a bit different. There is something simple and banal, as well as something new. First, we have to engage in the study of castles. This is a very trivial event. We just travel through the arenas and fight monsters, as I understand it. This event does not change from time to time. Only the stage and various side elements differ. The essence is always the same. The second event will be boat regattas. Nothing special either. We swim forward and overcome obstacles.
But the most interesting thing will be the event, whose name I did not understand, which will have to be played in cooperative mode. In my memory, this is the second multiplayer game event after hide and seek. And it’s great. There would be more of these, instead of the same kind of running errands in the arenas. Well, the simplest event will be with the passage of peculiar puzzles with gears. There is nothing particularly difficult about it.
Puzzle
Unsurprisingly, this broadcast gave us a sneak peek at the upcoming Sumeru region. It will be added to the game already in version 3.0, immediately after 2.8 (2.9, I remind you, it will not be). That’s somewhere in one and a half to two months. There was a voice in the video. Presumably Archon Dendro. They also showed a little flight around the locations. His appearance is fully consistent with the Dendro element itself. That is, the forest. Get ready for the whole region to look very green and beautiful. During the transmission, two problems were also observed. One is local, the other is global. The local is in the quality of the transmission itself. The English version is very late. The video bitrate was constantly dropping and the image quality was reduced to pixels. As well as constant underloading and backtracking of videos. Considering that the broadcast was postponed for a day (it was supposed to take place, as usual, on Friday), it was very strange to see such problems.
Plums are a world problem. Well, more precisely, this is a problem for developers. For us ordinary gamers, on the other hand, it’s quite good when you find out about future updates well in advance and can prepare for them. But in this case, such flows are not particularly necessary. A few days ago, information about the banners in version 3.0 was leaked to us. Then, when 2.8 has not yet been officially announced. Good or bad, again, decide for yourself.
According to this information, version 3.0 will also have 3 banners. The first will introduce us to a new hero. It looks like it will be Dendro Archer. With him on the banner will be a couple of new 4-star heroes. In the second half, we can expect a simultaneous replay of Geo Archon Zhong Li and Chief Secretary Qixing Gan Yu, as it was in version 2.4 in winter. Logically, these reruns will be scheduled for Genshin’s own birthday, which will be held at the end of September.

The current itself turned out to be very unpretentious and problematic. Players who are interested in the project probably already knew in advance what they were supposed to show us. If we talk about the patch itself, then, like the broadcast, it will be very modest. The main advantage of this, I would call the characters. This is the only thing worth waiting for patch 2.8. Kazuha is a true must-have for any account. Well, it seems that we are also waiting for the return of the Golden Apple Archipelago. As for future patch leaks. Personally, I’ll wait for Gan Yu to run again. I already have a geo archon, but I couldn’t get it out. Personally, I’ll skip the Dendro characters.
