Tele2 has applied for trademark registration associated with the t2 brand. The operator license for the Tele2 brand, owned by the Swedish company, expires at the end of 2024.

Tele2 has filed an application with Rospatent for registration of two trademarks associated with the t2 brand, RIA Novosti writes about this.
The trademarks are the inscription t2 on a black background with pink stripes. Previously, Tele2 registered three more trademarks, also with the inscription t2, but on a black and white background and with a pink square.
In April 2024, Tele2 announced a rebranding and rebranding to t2. The company is rebranding due to the decision of Swedish company Tele2 AB not to renew the license to use the brand.
