The technology is being tested in Brazil, which has one of the highest smartphone theft rates in the world. Anti-Theft Lock automatically locks your smartphone before an attacker gains physical access to it.

You can remotely wipe all data on a device, but to do so you must authenticate on another device connected to the same account. Theft Detection Lock works if the thief keeps the smartphone offline for a long time; the locking function is also activated in case of sudden and unusual movements of the device, unusual network activity, and prolonged stay on an unknown network.
