All you need to do is follow a special link and fill in your Telegram account login information. At that moment, the scammers gain full access to the victim’s account, their correspondence, photographs and other information in the Messenger.
“In connection with the latest developments involving the Telegram messenger, a massive leak of personal data is expected,” says Sergei Kuzmenko, director of the Roskachestvo Center for Digital Experience.
Security experts advise users to delete all “sensitive information” from Telegram and to be careful when communicating with unknown people on the site.
Durov was detained on Saturday at Paris’s Le Bourget airport, where he arrived on a private plane from Azerbaijan. He is under arrest. RB.RU regularly updates information on this matter.
