“Starting from August 26, 2024, BCS opens the possibility of depositing and withdrawing Kazakhstani tenge (KZT) and Armenian drams (AMD) to brokerage accounts,” the broker’s Telegram channel says.
Clients again had the opportunity to withdraw currency to the data of external banks and BCS Bank, as well as transfer it from their data to BCS brokerage accounts. In addition, submission of orders for the purchase and sale of Armenian drams on their accounts has resumed.
In July, BCS suspended the withdrawal of Kazakhstani tenge from brokerage accounts, the possibility of depositing them was also suspended, but no restrictions were imposed on foreign exchange trading. In August, a temporary ban on buying and selling transactions in Armenian drams was introduced, but BCS Bank clients could make exchanges and external transfers.
