Last Wednesday night (28), the Minister of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), Alexandre de Moraes, called on Elon Musk, the owner of X (formerly Twitter), to appoint a legal representative for the company in Brazil within 24 hours. If the decision is not complied with, the social network must be taken offline in the country.

This decision of the Minister brings to the agenda the issues that have been discussed on social media, especially on the platform since yesterday.

While the arm wrestling between Moraes and Musk was taking place there, the Brazilians of course did not miss the opportunity to make a meme about the situation.

“I’m glad Twitter is ending, I have work to do next week,” one user commented. But other internet users recalled the history of the ‘nonsense’: “Hey guys, do you really believe Twitter is ending in Brazil? This fiction has been going on for months.”

Check out what users are saying about the so-called “end of X”:

With the supposed end of X, there were even those who supported the possible return of Orkut, the famous social network of the 2000s.
