Since August 27, 2024, IC Headhunter JSC is one of the founders of the company and owns 15% of Skillaz LLC. Headhunter LLC owns 74.99%, another 10.1% belongs to the founder and CEO of the company, Andrei Krylov.
By the end of 2023, Skillaz’s revenue increased by almost 80% year-on-year to RUB 723 million, and net profit increased by 197% to RUB 105 million.
Based on last year’s financial indicators, Skillaz’s value can be estimated at approximately 3.3-3.5 billion rubles, which means that a 15% stake by the end of 2023 could cost approximately 495-525 million rubles, analysts told RB.RU. Global Financial Freedom.
According to them, if the company continues to increase revenue and net profit in the first half of the new year at the same pace, the value of a 15% stake in it could grow to 520-655 million rubles.
Finam Financial Group analyst Nikita Stepanov suggested that the company at the time of the transaction was valued at more than 2 billion rubles, respectively, a 15% stake was worth about 300 million rubles.
“The valuation assumption was based on the fact that in 2022 the company was valued at 1.55 billion rubles. Taking into account the labor shortage in the Russian Federation and the need for such platforms, the value of a private company could easily increase by a third in two years,” he explained.
Skillaz is a platform for generating, further evaluating and selecting candidates. It was founded by Andrey Krylov and Grigory Dudash. In December 2015, the company raised 160 thousand euros from several business angels.
In 2018, former Megafon director Sergei Soldatenkov and the operator’s COO Anna Serebryanikova became co-owners of Skillaz, but three years later they left the project.
- HeadHunter first invested in Skillaz in 2019 and received 25.01% of the project for 232 million rubles. Two years later, hh exercised the option to purchase 40% of Skillaz LLC worth 556 million rubles, and also acquired another 10% for 155 million rubles.
- According to СNews, the total value of Skillaz, based on HeadHunter’s last two stock transactions for 2021, was valued at RUB 1.39 billion – RUB 1.55 billion.
