The disease is called EVALI, its symptoms are similar to coronavirus. This disease was under investigation before the pandemic, but the detection rate later decreased due to the prevalence of Covid-19.
EVALI can cause pathological changes in the lungs accompanied by high body temperature, fatigue, cough and shortness of breath.
“Due to the similarity of the symptoms that emerged with the onset of the coronavirus pandemic, studies on the disease have slowed down and the detection rate has stopped growing, but this does not reduce its danger for e-cigarette users,” the Ministry of Health said in question.
