Raw asparagus is crunchy. It contains more iron and calcium than boiled asparagus. You will also get natural enzymes and other compounds that are beneficial to the digestive system.
However, if you have trouble digesting raw vegetables or suffer from bloating or gas, eat cooked asparagus instead.
