Former CEO of Dodo Brands Fyodor Ovchinnikov has announced the second change in the company’s management in a year: the post of Alena Tikhova, who took over as CEO in February, will now be taken by Dmitry Solovyov, who previously headed the company’s Eurasian direction.

As Fedor writes, Dmitry joined Dodo Brands in 2018 as the CFO of Dodo Pizza in Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus, and since October 2022 he has become the head of the Eurasian direction. Now he will have to develop the company as a whole, dealing with all key strategic issues.
Recall that Alena Tikhova, before taking up the post of CEO, was involved in the development of Dodo Brands in the United States. In 2014, she joined the company as a franchisee of the Dodo Pizza chain (she opened a restaurant in Khimki), but in 2015 she sold the premises back to the company to move to the United States, where she continued to work for the brand.
Before returning to Russia and Dodo in 2023, Alena worked for some time at the Californian startup XRobotics.io.
