  • Thailand expects to receive a record number of tourists from Russia in 2024. The tourist flow could reach a record figure of 1.9 million people.

  • The Ministry of Economic Development predicts a slowdown in GDP growth in 2025-2027 to between 2.5% and 2.8%. The reasons for this dynamic are the effects of tax reform, the “redistribution” of budgetary resources and “foreign trade conditions”.

  • The first four stations of the new metro line 16 have been opened in Moscow. The Troitskaya line with 17 stations will run from the Moscow Central Circle to the city of Troitsk.

  • Salmon catches in Russia will be halved by the end of 2024. Rosrybolovstvo does not predict a shortage of red fish before the New Year, but warns of a possible price correction.

  • In contrast, port wine production in Russia has doubled. In the first half of 2024, domestic producers doubled the production of alcoholic beverages compared to last year, up to 2.63 million liters.
