The Troitskaya line with 17 stations will run from the Moscow Central Circle (MCC) ZIL station to the town of Troitsk, southwest of the Moscow Ring Road. Thanks to the opening of the first section of the new line, the load on the Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya and Sokolnicheskaya metro lines is expected to be reduced.
Also this week, the Potapovo station on the Sokolnicheskaya Line in the Kommunarka area was opened.
