MTS has announced the start of accepting applications for participation in the All-Russian championship in algorithmic and robotic programming True Tech Champ.

The final competition will feature show coding and robot racing, with winners receiving substantial cash prizes – up to 4 million rubles per team.

Registration for True Tech Champ will last from September 9 to October 12 on the official website.

The championship is divided into several stages, during which participation in the first track will involve solving algorithmic problems online in the format of individual calculation.

And those who compete in the robot programming track in S++, Go, Python, JS, Java and C# will need to work with a virtual labyrinth, analyze data at this stage and develop an algorithm that will help the robot mouse find a strong route faster than anyone else.

The semi-final and final will take place on November 8 at the MTS Live Hall arena in Moscow. Participants will be divided into teams and will develop algorithms for robots to navigate large-scale labyrinths with traps and special effects.

Prize fund of the championship in the algorithmic track:

1. First place: 1 million rubles
2. Two second places: 500 thousand rubles each.
3. Third places: 250 thousand rubles each

Prize fund of the robotics championship:

1. First place: 4 million rubles
2. Second place: 2.5 million rubles
3. Third place: 1 million rubles

Visitors to the championship will be able to take part in various IT activities: from master classes on paid sites and robot assembly to rock climbing with route generation and extreme coding competitions. In addition, everyone will be able to feel like a finalist, going through a labyrinth with the help of a robot mouse.

The event will include lecture halls styled as a garage, where code battles with the winners of True Tech Champ, master classes and show battles will take place, and in the evening guests will enjoy a concert program with the participation of popular artists.

Unusual bright shapes are a distinctive feature of all True Tech events. Last year we held an Olympiad in the style of a code festival, and this time a bright, memorable show with robots was chosen. At the same time, I decided to focus on teamwork. This applies both to the tournament itself, where participants conduct robot programming tests in a team, and to the greater activity of the participants. We are convinced that the most breakthrough technologies and solutions are not created alone, and the idea of uniting like-minded people is embedded in the DNA of all our projects and events, developing the True Tech IT community.

— Pavel Voronin, MTS First Vice President for Technology

Last year, more than 8 thousand people took part in the championship, including champions of various tournaments and members of the Russian programming team.
