The husband of Wildberries founder Tatyana Bakalchuk, Vladislav, reported on his Telegram channel that he was forced to contact Rospotrebnadzor and Roskomnadzor after many violations committed during the “acquisition” (merger of Wildberries and Russ – editor’s note) of Wildberries.

He claims that on the marketplace website “criminals have created real legal labyrinths, through which thousands of people will suffer.” Citing his lawyers, Bakalchuk claims that the attackers deliberately deceive consumers by posing as the owners of the Wildberries trading platform.
“They have appropriated all the merits, awards, brands and trademarks that we have created over the years. At the same time, they call themselves “owners”, but their legal and real addresses do not match and there is no information about the seller of Wildberries. This is a direct violation of the law and we indicated all these facts in the statements,” he wrote.
The company’s co-founder also believes that the attackers are illegally using the Wildberries brand, which was illegally transferred to RVB. He also claimed that the collection of personal data of customers was illegal. Therefore, he claims, he filed applications with Rospotrebnadzor and Roskomnadzor and demanded that “all identified violations be assessed and those responsible be brought to justice.”
RB.RU sent requests to Roskomnadzor and Rospotrebnadzor. Rospotrebnadzor’s Moscow office told the publication that it had not received any requests from Bakalchuk.
Marketplace Wildberries and outdoor advertising operator Russ have created a joint venture, RVB LLC, as follows from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities. The structure was registered on July 4. Earlier, the two companies announced a merger. At the end of July, Vladislav Bakalchuk, Tatyana Bakalchuk’s husband and co-owner of Wildberries, stated that in the process of merging the marketplace and the Russ group there are “clear signs that the company is being taken over.”
