The acquisition will allow Softline to strengthen its expertise in all stages of software development. The amount of the transaction is not specified. The companies hope to jointly create a unique service in the testing services market, which can be integrated into all stages of the development life cycle.

The product is included in the National Software Register of the Ministry of Digital Development and, as Softline notes, is popular among the largest Russian companies in the financial and technological sectors.

Test IT currently employs 75 people. By the end of 2023, revenues amounted to more than 250 million rubles. According to the company’s forecasts, the growth of this indicator can reach 60%; cooperation with Develonica can increase revenues in 2025 by more than 30%.

“The synergy between Test IT and Develonics will create a unique, import-independent platform for managing high-quality and secure development processes within the framework of the DevSecTestOps methodology. The development of our joint ecosystem will be based on technological partnerships with other Russian vendors, as well as on the capabilities of our own products,” said Yuri Ovcharenko, President of Develonica.

According to him, customers will have access to a platform solution to manage all development processes. The company’s main objective will be to provide R&D teams with the tools to create high-quality products. The agreement will be a new stage for Develonica in expanding products and creating services.

In early September, Softline sold 9.27% of its shares to a large institutional investor. The company said it would use the money to buy new projects. In 2024, Softline has already made several acquisitions. In June, the SL Soft Group structure acquired control of MD Audit, and in August it became the owner of 60% of the OMZ-IT technology holding.
