“We are grateful to everyone who shared their feedback on how to work with video in the cloud; we look at all of your suggestions and focus on them for the development of Ozon,” the company said.

Connecting collection points to cloud providers to provide access to video cameras will be optional; point owners can do so if they wish. To not connect to providers, you must specify “no cloud storage in PVZ” in the “video surveillance” section of your profile settings.

Ozon recalled that it is necessary to install cameras at all collection points, two at the “Marca Máxima” rate points and one at the “Casa” points.

The changes to the agreement on the issue of mandatory access to cameras will be fixed in the near future, the market noted.

In August 2024, Ozon announced the introduction of fines of 10,000 rubles at collection points for failure to provide access to video cameras and for providing false data. Following the announcement, the owners of the Ozon collection point created a petition against the innovation.
