Insurance company Spasskie Vorota reported that personal data of its clients were leaked to Roskomnadzor. This was reported in the press service of the department. The department is currently studying the document received from the company.

Earlier, information about a possible data leak that affected about 70 thousand phone numbers, 100 thousand email addresses, hashed passwords and other personal information appeared on a number of Telegram channels. According to the law on the protection of personal data, the operator is obliged to notify Roskomnadzor within 24 hours from the moment of detection of the leak.

If the leak is confirmed and evidence of data storage rules are found, Spasskie Vorota could face a fine of up to 100 thousand rubles under current legislation.
