WhatsApp is one of the most famous messengers on the market but it has very few customization options. However, the new update (v2.24.20.112 beta) discovered by the website WABetaInfo reveals that the developer is working on customization options for themes and wallpapers to make the user experience more enjoyable.
The new functionality will allow users to choose custom colors and themes for conversations with others. Options include a more neutral type of wallpaper and another with a bubble design that will allow you to completely customize the appearance of conversations.
The leaked images show different types of customizable themes, such as blue, which adapts to the light or dark screen scheme chosen by the user. The background image, as well as the messages, will also be colored according to the theme.

The site also notes that users will have the option to further customize the functionality of the themes. It is also worth noting that when choosing a theme, it will only appear in your app, while in other users’ apps, only the themes they choose will be shown.
The Android Authority website has managed to activate the WhatsApp update on a smartphone, showing almost all the options available for customization.
For now, the themes option on WhatsApp is in the testing phase, but considering the advanced state of the function, these options are likely to be available soon.
