The Mash Telegram channel, which studied the situation, reported an increase in requests to service centers: in just one hour the number of orders increased to 20. iPhones with new components, batteries and displays often fail. Immediately after the latest iOS update, gadgets began to overheat and break down.
This manifests itself in the form of the device not responding to attempts to turn on, applications “breaking”, the phone not being able to restart when frozen, etc. However, repairmen often refuse to service broken devices because they do not know how to fix them after the update. The best advice is to roll back to the previous version of the operating system (iOS 17).
According to experts interviewed by Mash, if the emerging problems are not resolved at the update level in the near future, iPhone owners risk being left without their phones altogether.
