Smartwatch manufacturers using this platform will have the freedom to design the appearance and user interface of the devices, while Masimo will develop and provide internal equipment, including hardware and software, biosensors, and applications for Android smartphones.
The partnership also includes the use of high-performance and energy-efficient systems based on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chip. The collaboration will begin with the latest Snapdragon W5 Plus Gen 1.
