TASS sources at Wildberries claim that both victims were security officers at the office of the online platform. At the time of publication, the co-founder of the marketplace and Tatiana’s husband, Vladislav Bakalchuk, had no comment on the report.

“To my deep regret, a security officer from our office died as a result of an armed attack on Wildberries. On behalf of myself and the company, I express my deepest condolences to the relatives of the deceased. We will definitely provide the family with all necessary assistance,” Tatyana wrote on her Telegram channel.

Earlier, the exchange’s press service informed RB.RU that Vladislav Bakalchuk had “attempted illegal entry with armed guards.”

Vladislav himself explained that he hired armed guards through the police and came to the office to negotiate the end of the warehouse construction (the RVB company, created as a result of the merger of Wildberries and the outdoor advertising operator Russ, is now preparing a lawsuit against Bakalchuk’s VB Development organization for allegedly failing to fulfill contractual obligations). For her part, Tatyana claimed that “no one agreed on any negotiations.”

Vladislav claims that “the first shots were fired from inside the building, through the glass of the Wildberries office.” The press service of the market square reported that the first to open fire were the armed men accompanying Vladislav.

In addition, Wildberries reported that “an attempted break-in was carried out at two company addresses at once.” Journalist Ksenia Sobchak, citing a witness, wrote that armed and masked men also came to the market office near the Dynamo metro station.
