According to a survey conducted by IGN, only 10% of over 60,000 respondents are ready to purchase a new Sony console.

The majority, 68%, find the PS5 Pro price too high and are not planning to buy it. Another 16.9% say they already own a powerful gaming PC, while 5.2% are still unsure and would rather wait for an “answer” from Xbox.

The gaming community is clearly not ready for the rising prices of consoles, which have always been seen as an affordable way to enter the next-gen gaming world.

Another survey found that gamers think the ideal price for the PS5 Pro is $599, but Sony and some developers believe $700 is the right price for such a powerful platform.
