According to Chinese sources, the production of these graphics cards will end in October and a shortage is expected in the market in early November.

Launched in October 2022, the RTX 4090 has held its leading position in the gaming world for almost two years now, but NVIDIA plans to end its lifecycle to make way for the new RTX 5090 series and RTX 5090D.

The final production is expected to allow NVIDIA partners to reduce their stock of high-performance RTX 40XX series graphics cards and prepare for the launch of the next generation.

Keep in mind that despite their prices, demand for the RTX 4090 and RTX 4090D is still high. Once discontinued, the price of these cards is expected to increase even more due to limited supply.

NVIDIA plans to gradually sell off inventory until the RTX 5090 and RTX 5090D become available after November.
