Ridetech Georgia offers taxi ordering services through the Yandex Go and Yandex Pro apps. The company was fined for the possible leakage of personal data of Georgian users, as these were able to enter Russia by communicating with servers located in the country.

The agency noted that the company itself had contacted them before the start of the inspection to request permission to transfer personal data to Russia, but was refused. The agency demanded that Ridetech Georgia stop transferring data to the Russian Federation.
