According to the registry, now the shares of Avtostels LLC are distributed as follows: the co-founders of the company Dmitry Ruban and Dmitry Piletsky each own 29.3% and 21.35%, respectively, 21.35% belongs to Andrey Ishchenko, 19.91% belongs to “Severgroup Investments”, 8.02% belongs to Denis Sobe-Panek.

The investment in Avtostels underlines Severgroup Investments’ confidence in the potential of the auto parts market, a Severgroup representative told Forbes. He estimated the market volume at 5 trillion rubles.

Severgroup Investments invests in fast-growing companies in promising segments of the economy. The investment company plans to acquire small shares of companies that interest them and participate in their comprehensive development, said a representative of Severgroup Investments.

According to Avtostels’ own data, more than 30 million items from 1.2 thousand suppliers are sold on the platform. According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, the company’s revenue in 2023 amounted to 10.8 billion rubles with a net profit of 92.5 million rubles.

In the first nine months of 2024, sales of imported auto parts increased by 20% in monetary terms, Roman Timashov, director of after-sales service at Avtodom Altufyevo, told Kommersant. The increase in market volume is due to rising prices for spare parts due to rising exchange rates and the increasing complexity of logistics, says Dmitry Babansky, project director at SBS Consulting.
