According to them, since September companies have been receiving requests for data on the execution of civil electronics projects financed by the government. At the moment it has been proven that approximately half of the companies that received state support did not meet their conditions, the newspaper writes.

Among the violations is the production of electronic products outside Russia, including at outsourced companies in China. In such cases, the authorities can demand the return of subsidies and senior managers of the companies face criminal proceedings, the publication’s interlocutors noted. “In this way, foreign factories and owners of national brands were financed,” explained one of them.

The director of electronics manufacturer Beshtau, Oleg Osipov, confirmed that he had received letters requesting data on the application of state subsidies. The company has already sent a response to the prosecutor’s office. The top manager suggested that in 2025 subsidies for radio electronics will be reduced, so the authorities will optimize costs by excluding unscrupulous organizations.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade informed Kommersant that checks on the use of subsidies are periodically carried out. The department clarified that “the proportion of projects for which criminal cases are initiated based on the results of inspections is low.”

In June, electronics manufacturers asked the Ministry of Industry and Trade to grant them benefits and allow them to waive mandatory labeling. They also proposed renegotiating the terms of agreements for subsidized projects and supporting investments in semiconductor factories.
