Wildberries co-founder Vladislav Bakalchuk filed a lawsuit with the Savyolovsky Court of Moscow against Tatyana Kim (Bakalchuk) and RVB LLC, demanding that the agreement to transfer the Wildberries.ru domain to the merged company be declared void. This was reported by the businessman on his Telegram channel.

In his statement, he emphasized that Wildberries “has always been a joint venture (with Tatyana – editor’s note)” and registering a domain for Tatyana “didn’t matter” as long as they worked together. Bakalchuk also noted that the transfer of the domain to RVB LLC is an “absurd agreement” that is “contrary to the law and common sense,” since the domain was removed from co-ownership without his consent.
Bakalchuk believes these types of actions are often taken before divorce to reduce the size of the joint property.
He added that the Wildberries.ru domain, according to preliminary estimates, is worth at least $3 million. Bakalchuk intends to return it to joint ownership and emphasized that it is important as a symbol of the company and a key asset.
According to Alexander Logunov, managing partner of IQ Technology (which represents Vladislav Bakalchuk’s cases in domain name and intellectual property disputes), the Wildberries.ru domain is one of the company’s key assets and “it is impossible to imagine a market without this domain, which millions of users enter every day in their browsers.”
He highlighted that the right to manage the domain was acquired by Tatyana during the marriage, which means that the domain and the right to possess it, being a property right, are assets acquired jointly. According to him, spouses can only dispose of this right with mutual consent and, in the event of divorce, the property must be divided equally.
Logunov also noted that Tatyana Kim transferred the domain to RVB LLC, knowing that Vladislav Bakalchuk did not agree with this decision. In this sense, according to the lawyer, this transaction should be declared invalid.
The press service of the united company Wildberries and Russ (RVB LLC) informed RB.RU that the company has not yet received the documents. They will be considered in accordance with the procedure established by law, they added.
- On July 4, Wildberries and Russ established a joint venture, RVB LLC. 65% is owned by Wildberry LLC, the remaining 35% belongs to Stinn LLC, the parent company of the Russ group, its beneficiaries are the brothers Levan and Robert Mirzoyan.
- On July 30, the marketplace’s domain name, Wildberries.ru, was transferred to its RVB joint venture with Russ. Vladislav Bakalchuk is trying to challenge this decision. The husband, with whom Tatyana is in the process of divorcing, sent two pre-trial lawsuits demanding the annulment of the transfer of market dominance to the merged company.
- As RB.RU learned, on August 5, RVB received 38 marketplace domains from Wildberries LLC, including banking and payment portals. The domains were registered by RU-CENTER.RU.
