Obsidian has primarily developed its deep and complex RPG titles. From the depths of this studio at one time came such games as Neverwinter Nights 2, Fallout: New Vegas, South Park: The Stick of Truth, The Outer Worlds and many others.
While they’ve experimented in other forms in recent years, the new established gamers are highly anticipating this being the company’s first RPG in years.
A small open world awaits you, full of first-person combat. The game features dark humor and carefully thought-out dialogues that help you better understand the characters and the universe.
In the project you can choose a weapon to your liking and find your way to victory using various tactics and strategies. It has been announced to Xbox Game Pass subscribers that it will be released in 2025 and will be available for free on release day.

2. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 (PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series)
When is the release: February 11, 2025
Kingdom Come: Deliverance is perhaps the foundation of the modern role-playing game, set in a realistic medieval world. There is no magic or dragons in it, but it perfectly conveys the life of ordinary people of the 15th century.
The series immerses the player in harsh realities, where the hero is just one of many figures against the backdrop of large-scale events.
The main character of the second part will be Henry of Skalitsa, the son of a blacksmith who avenges the death of his family. The sequel promises to exceed standards in all aspects.
The open world will be twice as large as the first part, the characters will react more realistically to the player’s actions. A well-thought-out and complex combat system is also in place.

3. Atomfall (PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series)
When is the release: March 2025
When watching the Atomfall trailer, Atomic Heart immediately comes to mind. Perhaps the project of our compatriots became a source of inspiration for the Rebelion studio, published based on the Sniper Elite series.
The plot takes us to an alternative England in the 1950s. Five years have passed since the accident at the Windscale nuclear power plant in northern England. Within its boundaries there is a quarantine zone from which no one is allowed to leave.
The main character wants to find out what really caused the disaster. We promise a compact but rich open world, a non-linear story and multiple endings.
Atomfall will be available for free to Xbox Game Pass subscribers on release day.

4. Life is Strange: Double Exposure (PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series)
When is the release: October 29, 2024
The boy will say that the Life is Strange series is difficult with an agenda and in general for printed girls.
The man, wiping away a stingy tear from finishing the game first, will say that a new part is finally coming out.
Life is Strange: Double Exposure is the fourth installment in the cult series about people with supernatural powers. Max Caulfield, the main character of the first game, appears at the center of the story.
While it is not a requirement to understand the games, it is recommended that you familiarize yourself with specific parts. This way you can better appreciate the references and gain greater criticism of your favorite characters. The plot unexpectedly centers on the investigation of a crime related to the murder of the main characters’ friend.
Of course, we are waiting for a complicated story with a lot of moral choices. Just right for dark autumn evenings.

5. Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater (PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series)
When is the release: end of 2024
Konami has been the subject of genuine (and well-deserved) hatred for the past 10 years. The Japanese themselves contribute to this by gradually destroying their heritage and openly ridiculing their fans.
However, in 2023, something changed. This year, two remakes were announced: Silent Hill 2, which has already received high praise from critics and early players, and Metal Gear Solid 3, a favorite part of the series for all fans.
The first and main difference is that the number 3 was removed from the title. In terms of plot, Snake Eater is a prequel to the entire franchise, and this is where the long and complicated history of Metal Gear begins. Otherwise, Konami promises a careful and almost frame-by-frame remake of the original PS2 game, but with modern gameplay process and graphics.
The plot of Snake Eater is extremely cool, its ending knocks the chair out from under the player, and I sincerely envy those who have not caught a single spoiler in all these years.
