Yandex Market began offering free insurance for equipment, for example, against theft, short circuit, breakdown or fire. This was reported to RB.RU by the company’s press service.

Insurance can be purchased for some products in the Electronics category. The first partner on the market, AlfaStrakhovanie, offers an annual policy. In the future, the market plans to increase the number of available insurance companies and product categories covered by insurance.
You can activate the option in the product page or in the cart when paying for the order. The user must enter information about the policyholder and, based on this data, the buyer will receive a document.
After delivery of the merchandise, the insurance will be available in the “My Orders” section in PDF format. To receive compensation, the user must present the policy, a receipt and the device itself.
