When trying to log in to the service’s website, users in Russia see a page with a “403” error.

Access from the country is blocked, probably due to high traffic or a configuration error, the message said.

According to the specialized portal “Habr”, until now there had been no blockages in the service.

“Probably, Guilded management took this step due to an increase in new users of this location or for other reasons,” the post says.

“The blocking was carried out through the content delivery service Amazon CloudFront, whose algorithms could automatically respond to the large influx of users after Discord was blocked,” writes VK Play.

Guilded is the exact equivalent of Discord on Roblox.

On October 12, the Downdetector.su service reported a malfunction in another Discord analogue in Russia, Revolt. During the day, 1.6 thousand complaints were filed due to problems with Revolt.

On January 8, Roskomnadzor blocked the Discord messenger, popular among gamers and IT specialists, due to prohibited information. The platform is used by between 25 and 40 million people, reported MP Vladislav Davankov citing data from Mediascope.

The MP added that the messenger is used by teachers and students, not just gamers, for example, the Coddy online school had problems due to Discord blocking;

Among the services that can replace Discord, experts interviewed by RB.RU named Revolt, guild, Element, Mumble, VKontakte, Telegram, TeamSpeak, Skype and Hyperbeam.
