Rospatent has registered an extension of the validity of Yandex LLC’s rights to the Yandex and Yandex brands until May 19, 2035. The corresponding entries were entered in the registry on October 11, 2024.

In January, MKPAO Yandex, registered in Russia, became the owner of the Russian operating company Yandex LLC instead of the Dutch Yandex NV.
- Since August 15, Yandex LLC has been in the process of reorganization in the form of a spin-off, as follows from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities.
- On July 15, MKPAO Yandex announced that the Dutch company Yandex NV closed a deal to sell the Yandex business and completely withdrawn from the group’s shareholders. Yandex NV changed its name to Nebius NV and stopped using the Yandex brands.
- MKPAO “Yandex” is the new parent company of Yandex, its main owner is the closed mutual fund “Consortium.First”. The ticker of MKPAO “Yandex” on the Moscow Stock Exchange is YDEX.
