Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the transfer of the canning manufacturer Glavprodukt to the temporary management of the Federal Property Management Agency. The document was published on the legal information portal.

The Federal Property Management Agency received 100% of the authorized capital of Glavproduct LLC, Glavproduct-Patent LLC, Promselkhozinvest LLC and its subsidiary United Industrial Company LLC, according to the presidential decree.
Glavproduct produces stewed meats, pâtés, canned milk and other food products. The owner of the company through Promselkhozinvest is Universal Beverage Company, registered in the US, Interfax reported.
Other cannery producers owned by Promselkhozinvest also came under the temporary management of the Federal Property Management Agency: the Verkhovsky Milk Cannery, Orelproduct and Baltic Cannery.

According to its own data, Glavproduct is the leading Russian manufacturer of preserves. In 2023, Glavproduct JSC’s revenue amounted to 17 million rubles, net profit – 1.9 million rubles, according to Rusprofile data.
