“Having the opportunity to pass [биометрические данные]Many things have been set up for this, but the customer’s request is still to take advantage of the opportunity to submit biometric data in the application they are used to. <...> Our banks are such a reliable and secure environment that, from the point of view of mobile applications, we could definitely organize such a collection together,” Skorobogatova said.
The Center for Biometric Technologies, operator of the Unified Biometric System (SUB), is ready to implement the delivery of biometric data through banking applications, said CBT General Director Vladislav Povolotsky. He recalled that now Russians can also receive biometric data at bank branches and in the Biometrics application of State Services.

EBS appeared in 2018. With the help of biometrics, Russians can, among other things, pay for travel in the Moscow metro, issue a certificate for an electronic signature verification key without visiting a certification center, open an account banking, deposit and receive a loan remotely.
