Japanese company Casio is launching a new product in its Moflin line of domestic plush toys based on the iconic intelligence. They were developed jointly with startup Vanguard Industries and are already available after CES 2021.

Its main purpose is to act as a pet to provide emotional support to a man’s family. Through their robots, small robots give their own personalities and can change their behavior depending on the situation.

Mofflin responds to hugs, hand movements, pleasant sounds, and you can talk to him. The robot prevents cloning and is capable of disintegrating in space. It also supports Bluetooth and connects to the connection. Before you start, it “falls asleep”, and you take it off and wash it.

Moflin sells 7 new products for about $400, but that’s not much in Japan’s history lore.
