This means that Sberbank clients will be able to make purchases through terminals of other acquiring banks using biometric data, and clients of other banks will be able to make purchases through terminals in which Sber is the acquirer, Malykh explained.

According to him, companies have already agreed on many key issues. Sberbank plans to connect to the NSPK platform as an acquiring bank and an issuing bank. The director of the NSPK Operations and Technology Department, Maxim Krukelis, confirmed these plans.

In 2025, customers of any bank will be able to pay for purchases using biometric data, Sberbank reported in September. Sber and NSPK developed this service in parallel. At the same time, NSPK asked the bank to join its system.
