This requirement applies to all developers who generate revenue from their apps through sales, in-app purchases, or advertising. Developers that offer ad-free, free apps are exempt from this rule.

Apple accepted these changes. Developers are now required to provide contact information so that new applications or updates can be released in the future. Those who fail to comply with this requirement by February 17, 2025 will risk having their apps removed from the European App Store.

Organizations must provide a phone number and email, while individual developers must provide more detailed information, including a postal or personal address, phone number, and email.
