The cost of basic solutions will increase by 14%, workstation licenses will increase in price by 10% and individual product licenses by up to 18%. The price increase for PROF licenses intended for small organizations will come into effect on April 1, and for CORP licenses for large companies – from July 1, 2025, Nuraliev explained.
The founder of 1C admitted that some customers complain about the high cost of a license for 1C products, but “in reality, their price is much lower than that of Western counterparts.” A representative of the company explained that the price increase is associated with the development of product functionality and an increase in development and equipment costs, while most of the increase will be received by the company’s partners (the 1C discount : Franchisee is 55% of the retail price). ).
The first 1C product was the accounting program of the same name. In 1994, the company introduced the 1C: Enterprise system, which became a universal platform for automating and optimizing business processes.
For the nine months of 2024, sales of 1C: enterprise licenses and subscription services in monetary terms increased by 16.7% compared to the same period last year, according to a company presentation, a copy of which was reviewed by RBC . Absolute data on sales of all 1C solutions is not disclosed.
In 2023, the revenue of the main legal entity of the group, 1C JSC, increased by 2% and amounted to 358 million rubles, and net profit increased by 397% to 16 billion rubles. According to the company’s own data, the 1C dealer network includes more than 10 thousand partners in 600 cities of Russia and the CIS who are engaged in the sale and implementation of solutions.
In 2023, 1C, together with other IT market participants, signed the “Price Charter for Socially Responsible IT Companies.” Its participants must voluntarily limit price increases for their products.
