“Once the current inventory of the Kindle Oasis runs out online and in stores, we will not restock the device,” Amazon spokesperson Devon Corvasce told The Verge. “Today, all of our devices have a touch interface that is convenient for our customers.”

The Oasis model was released in 2016. Its lightweight, asymmetrical design for one-handed use was a standout feature, but its high price may have deterred many people from considering the product.

Even though Oasis is gone, the Kindle family isn’t getting any smaller. Amazon announced several updates to its device lineup this week, including the Kindle Colorsoft, the first color e-reader.
