The new product will be one of the most affordable 5G smartphones in India, priced below 10,000 rupees (about $120).
Redmi A4 5G is similar to the Redmi 14R and Redmi 14C models and is equipped with a 50 MP main camera housed in a large round module.
According to Muralikrashnan B, Head of Xiaomi India, the device has been designed specifically for the Indian market and symbolizes the company’s commitment to making 5G accessible to everyone.
Redmi A4 5G is expected to get a 6.7-inch LCD screen with HD + resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate, 8 MP front camera and 5000 mAh battery with 18 W charging support.
The full technical specifications of the device have not been disclosed yet.
