According to OnePlus China President Li Jie, the device has the “industry’s highest power output” reaching 50W. In addition to quickly charging smartphones, this solution will also prevent the case from overheating during charging.
The technology is reminiscent of Apple’s MagSafe but with the added cooling of a built-in fan.
More detailed charging features have not yet been announced, but information is expected to emerge with the announcement of the OnePlus 13 flagship smartphone, which also supports 50 watt wireless and 100 watt wired charging.
