A multifunctional medical bracelet created by neurophysiologists of the Neurotechnology company based in Skolkovo was launched in Chelyabinsk. This company is known as an exporter of medical equipment to 48 countries, and in 2021 it demonstrated the ability of its prototype to detect Covid-19 a day before the onset of symptoms.
The neurotracking bracelet, called NEYROX, uses advanced technology and is based on the latest advances in neuroscience. It has the capacity to track many health indicators, from physical activity and body temperature to blood sugar levels and cardiovascular health. As neurophysiologist Yuri Koryukalov says, the main advantage of this device is that it allows assessing the emotional state of the user by measuring the activity of the nervous system. This is particularly useful for studies with children with neurological disorders such as epilepsy and autism.
Neurotracker is designed to prevent crisis situations, which is especially important for the elderly, athletes and those with cardiovascular disease or diabetes. Starting in 2025, the bracelet will be able to predict epileptic seizures 40-50 seconds before they start and send the user a notification and vibration signal to prevent a fall. Additionally, the medical device will allow doctors to monitor patients’ condition in real time and adjust treatment even if they are far away from each other. Additionally, the stylish bracelet will feature notifications, calls and an SOS button, making it both convenient and easy to use.
