The Central Bank did not ignore the strong demand against a backdrop of high car prices and interest rates of up to 41% per year and announced its intention to introduce macroprudential limits on car loans. Experts believe that the restrictions will cool the segment of new loans, but loans issued during the peak period will remain in default.
