Apple has announced the next generation of iMacs, now featuring the M4 chip.
With the processor, iMac is 1.7 times faster in everyday tasks and 2.1 times faster in complex workflows like video editing or new photo editing than M1-based iMac. Gamers can “enjoy smooth gameplay with up to 2x the frame rate of iMac with M1.”
Compared to the “best-selling 24-inch all-in-one PC with the latest Intel Core i7 processor,” the new iMac is 4.5 times faster.
As a result of the version, the computer now has 16 GB of RAM, and not 8 GB as before. The new product is designed for Apple Intelligence.
The iMac M4 comes with a 24-inch display with 4.5K resolution. For the first time, a nanotexture has appeared that almost the entire brain collects sparkles from the sun. The company also installed a new 12-megapixel Center Stage camera with Desk View support.
The new iMac allows you to connect all four USB-C ports with Thunderbolt 4 support to two 6K displays. There is Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.

The new product is available for pre-order today. The start of sales is scheduled for November 8.
