They noted that the creation of a virtual operator is considered one of the steps in the “retail business strategy, focused on the development of daily banking.”

“The launch of a virtual operator will allow us not only to expand the range of services for customers, but also to increase the protection of their finances from fraudsters, as well as to increase our customer base,” said Alfa Mobile General Director Andrey Litvinov.

Beeline noted that the partnership opens “a new stage in business development and opportunities for both companies.” The operator recently completed a large-scale modernization of the network across the country, focusing on improving coverage and stability, noted Sergei Bykov, vice president of operator business at VimpelCom PJSC. “Launching a virtual operator in our infrastructure is a logical step,” he said.

Alfa Bank promised that the partnership with Beeline will allow the bank’s clients to receive advantageous offers with high-quality coverage, fast mobile Internet and affordable tariffs for communications abroad.

According to a TelecomDaily survey, in 2025, 95% of Russian Internet and mobile communications operators plan to increase tariffs. Almost all market participants reported an upcoming price increase: 49% intend to increase rates by 10% to 15%, and 22% by 20% or more.
