Problems are reported in Moscow and the Moscow region (3%), St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region (3%), the Novosibirsk region (3%), the Sverdlovsk region (2%) and the Murmansk region ( 2%). At the time of this publication, 542 malfunction reports had already been registered.

Most complaints (71%) are related to a website crash, 14% of users reported issues with the mobile app, 10% reported a complete system crash, and 2% reported an account crash staff.

In February 2024, Roskomnadzor added Steam Community to the register of banned sites. The operation of the service was limited by decision of the Ministry of the Interior. In October, the agency announced that Steam had removed materials banned in Russia.
